Innovation Management

Hand

The KIT service unit Innovation Management is responsible for identifying potential innovations in cooperation with science, for protecting them and for initiating and attending their commercial exploitation. At the core of all activities is the intellectual property (IP), which is formed in the approximately 130 scientific institutes of the KIT.

The services extend from the protection of intellectual property rights via the technology marketing and project initiation, the negotiation of license agreements, to the initiation and support of IP-based startups, spinoffs and shareholdings.
